RHC Hydrocyclones

Design Features

  • In Reval hydrocyclones, a controlled feed flow mixes progressively and smoothly, thus reducing turbulence, which improves separation efficiency and extends equipment life by minimizing internal wear;
  • Laminar spiral inlet geometry, with no sharp edges or corners, designed to provide excellent separation efficiency and hydraulic capacity, as well as longer feed chamber life;
  • With a wide range of vortex sizes (overflow output),
    apex (underflow outlet) and various cone angles, hydrocyclones
    Reval offer excellent operational flexibility;

Components

  • Corrosion-resistant carbon steel or aluminum housings, with external reinforcement;
  • Polyurethane (PU) or rubber coatings for wear resistance;
  • Replacement parts available for internal linings;

Application Types

  • Thickening→ Elimination of water from a pulp;
  • Desliming→ Elimination of fine particles and sludge;
  • Fractionation→ Separation of food into fractions;;
  • Classification→ Recovery of particles in a certain particle size range.
